I was thinking today about how ordinary people can do extraordinary things. The funny thing is, extraordinary things don’t have to seem all that extraordinary. Giving a smile or a compliment to a person when they are feeling the most vulnerable or taking a person to lunch just to get them out of the house can everything if it is done at the right moment. I have been fortunate in my life to have a few of those everyday heroes come my way just when I needed it the most. I have had people who would listen to me even when the story was the same. I have had people who made me smile when I thought the world was coming to an end. These people may not even know what an impact they had on my life, and they may never know. I don’t even know the names of some of these people. In one of the books I am writing, I have written about these particular people and how they may only be in your life for a moment, but they leave an impact anyway. Now, there are people out there who love to make a negative impact on people as well (I’ve had my share of those), but I don’t think the ones who have had a positive impact get enough credit. So, even though I cannot name you, I would like to thank all the little heroes in my life with grateful blessings for those who have had a positive impact in my life.
